Most Popular Area Attractions

Gorge Amphitheater

With the ability to seat 20,000 concert viewers (and accommodate thousands more), the Gorge Amphitheater is carved out of a hill overlooking the Columbia River, near the Washington Cascades community of Ephrata.

Managed by Live Nation Entertainment, the Gorge offers striking, picturesque views to attendees of some of the most popular music festivals in the country. Annual favorites include Sasquatch! Music Festival and the Vans Warped Tour.

Grant County Historical Museum

A fun and educational getaway, Grant County Historical Museum is located on the north end of the Washington Cascades community of Ephrata. The museum maintains an impressive collection of Wanapum and Sinkiuse Indian artifacts, along with historic pictures, tools, and farm equipment used in Grant County.

Each year, the best time to visit is Sage n' Sun Weekend, where volunteers in full, period dress emulate the experience of the first settlers to the area. Throughout the museum, in places like the Newspaper building, volunteers are waiting to tell visitors anything they’d like to know about the rich history of the Ephrata area.

Lake Lenore Caves

An estimated 12,000 years ago, the Lake Lenore Caves were carved out of the Washington Cascades by a flood of melting ice. Today, they serve as an ideal getaway for residents and visitors of the Ephrata area – conveniently located just 20 minutes north of the city.

The Lake Lenore exit on Washington State Route 17 leads visitors straight to the trail parking lot. There visitors find history and information about the Grand Coulee area before embarking on well-maintained trails leading to seven separate caves. Once serving as shelter for prehistoric man, the Lake Lenore Caves are the perfect way to get a sense of early human life.

Oasis Park & Golf Course

Make the most of your next visit to Washington and check out one of the top executive courses in the state – the Oasis RV Park & Golf Course. Like all executive courses, Oasis RV Park & Golf Course allows you to play the nine holes once through, or double them up for a full 18-hole experience.

As you explore the depths of Ephrata – the charming and quaint city where Oasis RV Park & Golf Course is found – you'll notice an ease of access to and from the city via Basin St. Basin St. also takes you to I-90. Oasis RV Park & Golf Course was opened in 1975, and it also features the Ephrata Mini Golf Course for the kids.
