Badger Mountain Vineyard, encompasses 80-acres of land, west of Kennewick. The vineyard was established in 1982, by Bill Powers and his son Greg. It was the first in the state to become a Certified Organic winegrape vineyard, in 1990. Every wine is produced from organic-grown grapes. Powers was awarded the lifetime achievement award, from the Washington Association of grape growers, for his commitment to excellence.
