Wenatchee River
The Wenatchee River originates from Lake Wenatchee in the Wenatchee National Forest, in eastern Washington. The river flows for fifty-three miles emptying into the Columbia River after flowing through Leavenworth, Plain, Cashmere, and Peshastin, ending north of Wenatchee. Tributaries from the river have helped irrigate area orchards and vineyards for many years.
