Cle Elum is a small city located at the base of the Cascade Mountains. With access to many forests and high mountain lakes the area surrounding Cle Elum is perfect for amazing fishing and hiking in the summer.

In the winter, the hills and mountains of the Cascades make for great cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. While you're in the town you can visit the Carpenter Museum to see the beautiful 1914 mansion, or the Roselyn museum, which has a collection of items relating to the TV series "Northern Exposure", which was filmed in the area.
